Tour De Cure Picture

From the Tour De Cure website. My buddy Iqbal, and I.

Frameset for Sale

Bought this frameset on ebay, but based on the amount I paid for it, I decided not to continue building it. I'm goiung to strip it back down (15 minutes work) and sell just as the frameset. The 105 parts I was going to use just aren't up to par with this high quality of frame. It's a 56cm Felt F1 Team Garmin Frame.

A few more of my bikes.....

I bought this in Canada, and one of my biggest regrets is selling it. I sold just the frameset but it was 1 of just 300 built. Scandium Frame. Went to a good home in Cali though.

Bought this new and then bought the custom wheels. Beautiful bike but it was just a little too big for me.

Trek Madone 5.2. I loved this bike. It was built with Ultegra SL Components.

Bought this on ebay for just $1300 inc. shipping - was very lucky, brand new. Sold it a week later for $1900.

This was a time consuming built and I spent alot on it. Lapierre XLM. Still made money from selling it to a guy in NJ, but still too much work for small profit. Beautiful bike though.

A few road bikes I've had in the past.....

Brand New Jamis Team Edition with ES Wheels and Durachie Components. (Pictured with my Son Josh)

Felt F1 Custom Build w/ Ultegra Build and Carbon Crankset. I bumped into the guy who bought this from me on Lopez Island during the Tour De Lopez.

Colnago Dream w/ Ultegra. Sold to a guy in Vancouver BC.

Bought this new and customized the wheels. DIdn't keep it long though...

BMC Cross Bike. My first cross bike build - probably my last too.

Another new build...

I purchased this Carbon Framset (which came with a Durachie Rear Derailleur, FSA K-Force Crankset, Carbon Bottle Cages and the Stem and seatpost pictured. I put the parts on it from the Eddy Merckx (I sold the Eddy Framset) and here it is.

The frame is a Cannondale Synapse Carbon 3 w/ SAVE Technology.

The framset was listed as used, but it is in incredible condition. This is one sexy bike, maybe a keeper for a while.....

Tour De Cure 5/21/2011

*Pictured is a Medical Technician holding my bike at a rest stop.

Today was the Tour De Cure Diabetes Ride in Redmond, WA. Because we rode to the Start and Finish point, we did the 25 miles ride. Overall we did 40 miles - great ride around Lake Sammamish.

The Bike: I bought this Cannondale System Six 13 Frameset last week on Ebay. Carbon Downtube and crossbar, the rest amuminum. It came from the East Coast and arrived last night at 4pm. I had previously bought the parts, includng wheels for it a week ago, as part of a whole bike, which I'm selling the frame off - A TiCycles Steel Frame. So within 2.5 hours from coming out of the box, I had it built and ready to go for todays ride.

56cm Frame with a Shimano Ultegra build and Bontrager Race Lite Wheels, certainly not a bike I'm the most proud of but it did great. I would've loved to have ridden the Eddy, but I sold the frameset, so I'm breaking it down and looking for a new frame for the 'Durachie' parts. Tempting to ride it anyway, but I got a good price for it and didn't want to damage it before shipping it off...

My Current Ride

My current ride, but check back soon... It could sell anytime

This is an Eddy Merckx Team SC Special Edition with Full Shimano Dura Ace. The frame is actually a 2005, but I bought it new in 2011, along with the brand new Dura Ace Groupo and Dura Ace Wheelset. The frame is Scandium, some would argue that it's the best material for frames... Hmm, I'm not sure about that, though it's an awesome bike to ride.
Also equipped with FSA Carbon Bars and Deda Newton Stem and Seatpost. Bike weighs between 16 and 17 lbs. Very fast and classy, but I miss carbon.

Pinarello F4:13 W/ ES Wheels and SRAM Red

The One that got away...

This is my favorite bike and I wish I hadn't sold it. Weighing in at 15.5 lbs, this bike was fast and the Red Groupset was magnificent. This bike traveled to England with me and was built from the ground up. The frame came from New York via Ebay and the parts came from all other areas in the US. The bike was sold to a guy in British Columbia who was planning to take it on a tour across the Far East.
